
The Scandinavian Studies Programme at Mälardalens University is an international course of studies for students of Swedish or Scandinavian Studies at foreign universities and colleges.
The courses, mainly in the Swedish language and culture, take place at the School of Education, Culture and Communication in Västerås and the city of Barcelona. But the courses also give an insight into the language, literature, history and society of the other Nordic countries.
The programme comprises three full-time, one-term courses at different levels:
You apply for the course that matches your qualifications. A pass on the course Scandinavian Studies 3: Language, History and Literature, gives basic and special qualifications in Swedish for studies at Mälardalen University.
